Maxland’s corporate mission has always been manufacturing fabric in a sustainable and eco-friendly way. Conserving our natural resources and reducing humanity’s carbon footprint has also been a top priority for us.
In this Eco-Friendly collection, we offer not only traditional recycled poly and nylon, but also other different types of sustainable materials such as biodegradable fibers, recycled waterproof/breathable membrane, biomass materials and recycled ocean waste plastic yarn. We also offer solution dyeing and other sustainable alternatives. We wish to participate in positive changes to help our environment, with this collection, we are one step closer to a healthier, cleaner and more sustainable future.
Biodegradable means that an item can be decomposed into natural molecule by bacteria or other biological process. By adding unique biodegradable materials into our yarn, it can make our fabrics easy to break down in different environment with less pollution.
Solution dye method is adding colors during the chips before drawn the yarn. By using this method, we are able to reduce water, chemical, energy consumption as well as greenhouse gas emissions - less process, less pollution. It is much more durable and providing better color fastness for the fabric.
Recollect the wasted plastic bottles from the ocean to reduce the contamination and balance the ocean ecosystem. We recycled the plastic bottles into yarn in order to save more marine life and form an eco-cycle for the production.
